This is a very belated review of our amazing session with Golriz. I had been wanting to book a family shoot for some time as we now have 2 daughters and missed the opportunity of newborn shoot with the second because of lockdown. I’d heard wonderful things about Golriz from few friends and eventually booked a “Golden Hour” shoot in early September. Golriz was wonderfully patient and able to follow our lead with our sometimes tricky oldest daughter, who was not keen on the idea of photoshoot and hubby for that matter!

However I don’t think the shoot could have gone better and we all loved the resulting photos including fun, cheeky and simply beautiful ones of the girls. The day of the shoot was swelteringly hot … still 27’C at 7:00pm(!), but we started with ice creams and a bit of climbing on logs for the girls near the Phesantry in Bushy Park (a common occurrance for us!), then we toddled around the Woodland Gardens and headed out into Bushy for the “golden hour” towards the end of the shoot. I have to say I was very relieved it didn’t go horribly wrong with small children in the heat and I’m sure it was because we all warmed to Golriz.

We loved all the photos, it was hard to decide what to print, but Golriz again patiently went through them all with us and even helped me swap a large framed photo when I decided there was another family group one which I preferred. My mum also regularly mentions how much she loves the photos, I had 12 made into a calendar for her (the easiest way to send lots to Canada for her!) … she’s now cut the dates off and just flicks the pictures over to change them!)

I definitely want to book another shoot soon to capture our gorgeous girls before they grow up too quickly and wouldn’t hesitate to ask Golriz to do it for us 🙂 Thank you Golriz!
