A wonderful, unexpected compliment I heard from this beautiful mamma of three after seeing the photos of her adorable little girls in a recent family photography shoot we had in early November:
” Are you not proud of yourself, having photographed 3 kidos in one frame, all happy and smiling?”
As much as it is not easy to walk in a totally new home and straight away start making relationship with ‘have just met‘ parents and ‘usually not very interested in strangers‘ children, it is as much challenging to photograph the same family through years and every time deliver a new work, capture them in a new stage of life with a very fresh eye and hopefully to surprise them with unexpected moments captured. So here it is, one of my very favourite sessions so far. A memorable photography experience, not only built on photography or patience with children skills, also through a deep, true trust I have received from this family and their children during last 5 years, letting me lead the sessions and trusting me with my skills.
Seeing them grow from being the first time parents with a little one year-old, while expecting baby no.2 to having a toddler and a 6 month old at home, then watching them grow to a family of 5, having a little newborn with two big sisters and now running around photographing three adorable sisters, laughing and playing side by side, while challenging me how to capture them in one single frame all smiling as every parents may wish for, has all been an indescribable journey for me which I am so grateful for.
So here are the moments we captured for these little girls, hoping to remain dear for them in their future when they are having they are growing their own family, to remember the love, laughter and family moments.
and here is a link to one of the previous sessions we had 4 years ago. Look how adorably little they were…
