Where are the best locations for sunset family photography in London?

Every family has its own rhythm, and that’s what I love to capture.

Rather than creating stiff poses, I gently guide when needed and allow the rest to unfold naturally. The conversations, the laughter, the quiet cuddles, children running between generations, and those little moments you may not even notice at the time.

My style of documentary family photography is relaxed, natural and centred around connection. Alongside timeless family portraits, you’ll receive a collection of images that reflect how your family felt to be together that day.

What should we wear for a sunset family photoshoot?

Before your session, I share guidance on styling your family so everything feels connected without looking overly matching.
I would advise you to begin choosing outfits for mum and girls, then find items for dad and boys. We work together step by step to make sure your selection would photograph beautifully.

When is the best time to book a sunset family photography session?

The best times are usually early spring and late summer, as the sunset comes earlier in the evening. I typically schedule sunset shoots from June to September, and we can plan based on the overall feel you are after. If you’re looking for an autumnal feel or summery greens, we can choose the best time of year accordingly. In the UK, with the weather being so unpredictable, I always advise being flexible with both weekdays and weekends so that, once we have a good weather window, we can plan around it. Booking in advance is absolutely recommended.
