I truly believe April carries a kind of quiet magic… that soft light, the fresh green everywhere, the feeling that the world is gently waking up again. Won’t you think could this spring be one of the best seasons to plan for a family photoshoot? and if you have big kids and teenagers, Richmond park is one of the best locations you may find in London.
This session I am sharing in this post, happened on one those most gorgeous spring mornings in April.
I met this lovely family at Kingston gate, we then simply went for a walk together in beautiful Richmond — no rush, no pressure — just a family of five spending time the way they naturally do ( they happen to have a family photographer on board! ). We paused here and there as the children ran ahead, played football with so much energy and laughter for good long, the girls proudly showed me their gymnastics moves, determined to perfect every landing. We climbed up the hill, climbed a tree ( not me thought! ), breathing in that crisp spring air, and in between all the movement and adventure were those quieter in-between glances… the smiles, the laughters, the way they naturally gathered close. It felt less like a photoshoot and more like a family day well spent — and knowing that these simple, joy-filled moments are now preserved for them, exactly as they are in this season of life, is always the greatest privilege.

These photos, the albums, all those memories up on the wall
are there to tell our stories…
when they ask in future …
how things were.. when they were little…
And just like that, a simple walk became a collection of moments we’ll always remember. The laughter, the play, the little triumphs — all captured, ready to be cherished for years to come.
