Sisters relationship is always beautiful. Specially in a 4/5-years age gap, when it is all about protection, support and pure love from the older one. In the age of 4-5 years, the big brother/sister clearly understands her/his role, having everything under their control so willing to help mummy bringing up the baby as well as teaching the very basics to the new arrival!
Having a chance to photograph these unique moments is one of the best gifts of being a photographer. Being there, watching them playing, at the same time being kind of invisible so they can be more themselves and ready to capture every single memorable interaction between them is not very easy but adorably rewarding.
I met Hazel and Lydia in warm summer afternoon in Kew Gardens and the photoshoot was all about watching them play, talk and laugh.
